MIAMI – In order to better support the more than 200 PGA TOUR players who have experienced the benefits of SST PURE Shaft Alignment, Strategic Shaft Technologies, LC, has debuted a new 28-foot SST PURE Shaft Alignment Lab.

The new trailer, which picked up the PGA Tour at the Ford Championship at Doral after two weeks on the Champions Tour, contains two complete SST PURE Shaft Alignment Systems and all the essential clubmaking tools to service the best players in the world.

“This is our third Tour trailer in four years,” SST founder Dick Weiss said. “In addition to more than 50 PGA Tour events in the past few years, we have also supported events on the Champions, Nationwide and LPGA tours. With the new trailer, our schedule is going to expand even more.”

Using proprietary computer software and sensitive data-acquisition sensors, the SST PURE shaft alignment process analyzes the structural irregularities that exist in every golf shaft and locates the shaft's most stable orientation. By assembling the club with the shaft in its PURE orientation, off-line bending and twisting of the shaft are minimized and impact repeatability on the center of the clubface by the golfer improves up to 51 percent.
