SST PURE continues to add licensees Dec. 5, 2000
THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Strategic Shaft Technologies, L.C. (SST) confirmed that it has entered into a licensing agreement with PCS Class "A" Clubmaker and '1996 GCA Clubmaker of the Year' Gene Sprayberry, of Columbia, SC. Sprayberry joins the growing list of select OEMs' and clubmakers who are licensed to perform the company's patented SST PURE golf shaft alignment process. "Gene Sprayberry is widely recognized for his clubmaking expertise and he typifies the caliber of licensee we are most interested in bringing on board, said SST CEO, Dick Weiss. "We are pleased to have this respected clubmaker performing the SST PURE process for the golfers of South Carolina." Consumer response to SST's revolutionary technology is building and the company is placing a substantial focus on licensee development. "Licensing inquiries are escalating significantly, stated Philip Talamonti, SST's president. "We've actually reached the point where the list of prospective licensees has grown well beyond our intended target for licensing in certain areas. We will continue to be extremely selective as our goal remains to establish proper coverage, while ensuring that we have the best available clubmakers and facilities in place in each market." SST also announced it is preparing to launch a consumer advertising campaign this coming January. "We have long intended to take our message directly to the consumer, said Talamonti. "We held off on doing so while we increased the number of 'PUREing' machines and clubmakers in the field to perform the work that might be generated by advertising. We are now ready to take that next step." The SST PURE shaft alignment process eliminates equipment induced mis-hits and makes every club play like your favorite.
