SST PURE™ adds new licensee with seven locations in North Carolina March 5, 2001 MIAMI -- Strategic Shaft Technologies, L.C. (SST) confirmed that it has entered into a licensing agreement with Julian and John Bunn of Raleigh, N.C. The Bunns own the seven Carolina Custom Golf Stores and its repair/refinishing subsidiary Continental Golf. "It's an honor for SST and me to be associated with Carolina Custom Golf and the Bunn brothers, who have spent nearly 30 years crafting and building their business." said Dick Weiss, SST Founder and Managing Member. "Their concern for quality refinishing, repair, and club building at Continental Golf make them a perfect fit to add them to our list of the finest clubmakers in the country using our SST PURE™ shaft alignment process." Carolina Custom Golf has two stores in Raleigh and one each in Cary, Charlotte, Pineville, Winston-Salem, and Wilmington; all in North Carolina. The Bunns employ their own custom designed fitting system -- Acufit -- and now offer SST PUREing on new clubs as well as new shafts for current clubs and the retro-PUREing of existing shafts. Strategic Shaft Technologies, L.C. licensed Carolina Custom Golf and Continental Golf primarily for their level of experience and reputation in North Carolina and the more than 1,000 repair/refinishing accounts that Continental Golf has developed nationally. SST is actively negotiating with other quality professional custom clubmakers as it moves to establish "SST Officially Licensed Retrofitting Centers" across the U.S. and internationally.
