MIAMI, Fla. -- Golfers in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area now have access to the exciting SST PURE™ shaft alignment process, it was announced Monday. Strategic Shaft Technologies, L.C. (SST) confirmed it has entered into a licensing agreement with Mark Timms and HotStix Golf, headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz.

While living in Connecticut during the early 1980s, Mark began making clubs for friends and family as a hobby. As he grew to appreciate the significant benefits of custom clubmaking, Timms realized there was no such outlet catering to golfers in the Stamford, Conn., area. He left his job in the banking industry to begin Custom Golf of Connecticut in 1990, and recently expanded to the Scottsdale area with his 7,000-plus-square-foot state-of-the-art HotStix Golf facility. "In just a few short months, HotStix has been receiving rave reviews from the entire valley region from professionals to beginners," Weiss said.
