Strategic Shaft Technologies, L.C., adds licensee in the Hawaiian Islands June 16, 2001
MIAMI, Fla. -- Golfers in the Hawaiian Islands now have access to the exciting SST PURE™ shaft alignment process, it was announced Friday. Strategic Shaft Technologies, L.C. (SST) confirmed it has entered into a licensing agreement with Mike Moynahan, PCS Class A Professional Clubmaker located on the island of Maui. "I am very pleased about SST’s association with Mike Moynahan and his company Kama’aina Clubmakers," said Dick Weiss, SST Founder and Managing Member. "Mike’s custom fitting, repair, and custom club making operation is second to none on the Islands. SST is only considering top-of-the-line highly experienced Class A clubmakers for licensing, and that makes Mike a perfect addition to our growing list of the finest clubmakers in the world who are offering our SST PURE™ shaft alignment process to their customers." Moynahan is a PCS Certified Class A Clubmaker and has attended Golfsmith’s Advanced Clubmakers class. He holds a bachelors degree in Engineering and an masters degree in Computer Science from the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. He has been a full time clubmaker for more than seven years and performs repair work at all the professional tour events in Hawaii. "The moment I was introduced to the concept of shaft PUREing it made sense to me as a clubmaker and engineer," explained Moynahan. "The concept that you could so precisely identify the manufacturing anomalies in a shaft led me to seek out an SST license.
