Strategic Shaft Technologies, L.C., Retains Jamison Communications for Media and Public Relations Nov. 11, 2002 MIAMI, FL. (Nov. 8, 2002) - Strategic Shaft Technologies, L.C., which offers the patented SST PUREŽ process of golf shaft alignment, has selected Jamison Group, an Orlando-based golf specialty firm, to oversee and administer its media and public relations. Every golf shaft ever made contains structural irregularities, and these irregularities can cause adverse effects during the golf swing. Using proprietary computer software and sensitive data-acquisition sensors, the SST PURE process analyzes a shaft to locate its most most stable orientation and neutralize these adverse effects. When the club is assembled with the shaft in this PUREd orientation, off-line bending and twisting are minimized and impact repeatability on the center of the clubface improves up to 51 percent. The process, which has been utilized by more than 150 PGA TOUR players, can be performed on existing clubs, new clubs or new shafts -- steel or graphite -- from most major manufacturers.
